Spice Village - Indian Tandoori Restaurant Kalbach in Kalbach

We liked to order here often. A few times we were not entirely satisfied because one time a piece of sheet metal (possibly from a can) was in the sauce and twice something was forgotten and delivered very late. But today something was forgotten again, although one paid for it, I find it unprofessional that no attention is paid. In addition, the sauce was prepared completely differently (much more liquid, like water). The meat was also badly burned. Anyone who does not rely on quality but on quantity will lose in the end. We do not discuss and no longer order here.

Unfortunately, after a negative experience today, we can no longer recommend the Spice Village. We have eaten there several times, but today I can only say, it was seasoned well, but the chicken (Chicken Tikka & Chicken Tikka Massala) was inedible because it was raw inside! And the reaction was also unprofessional and not customer-oriented. The food was ordered via Lieferando. There was a waiting time of 55 minutes. The meal was over half an hour late. After calling Spice Village it was said that Lieferando gave incorrect delivery times. That they generally say an hour at Spice Village. But as I said, the food came after 1.5 (!) Hours. Unfortunately, it was still raw inside. A new delivery was offered, but to be honest, after waiting 1.5 hours for food, then waiting again, is not acceptable. So I said that it would have to be canceled, we would have to clarify that with Lieferando. The problem was not addressed, but not discussed constructively. What a pity! We have always enjoyed eating there, but unfortunately for the last time with the poor customer service. It can happen that something is wrong with the food, but the reaction of the restaurant just annoyed us.

Absolutely disorganized and unfriendly. Even if you pick it up yourself, pack the wrong, spicy dishes that children cannot eat at all. Here the error is denied and the customer is more of a victim than a king. Conclusion: Tastes good, but if you order a third time there will be errors. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether it is a risk value.

Solid Indian restaurant with delivery service (either direct or via Lieferando). We ordered the Garlic Chicken Tikka (317) and the King Prawns Marsala. Both dishes taste very good. My King Prawns Marsala (349) scores with large, crunchy prawns in a very aromatic Marsala sauce (not spicy) - delicious. The Garlic Chicken Tikka was very tender with sauce, rice & naan bread. The meat was very tender, the sauce and the naan were very good. The delivery took place via point. Highly recommended!

The food is very tasty and plentiful and is served very attractively. The staff is very nice and friendly. After we went to eat here, we also had home delivery here. Both tastes very good at a very fair price. But it is definitely worth coming by.

The Spice Village restaurant offers delicious Indian dishes. Everyone in our group ordered something different and everyone was completely satisfied. The price-performance ratio is right and the service is particularly positive.

First and last time ordered there !!! In terms of taste, it was hardly convincing. The dishes were swimming in oil. The naan was under cannon. When I called and complained, I was rudely turned away. After all, he didn't cook or deliver. Thank you for this dam ..... experience!

Were eating locally today. It was super tasty and the service was great - you could also sit outside nicely. We ordered a chicken and a lamb dish as well as the mixed starter platter (for 1 person) and can recommend each of the dishes. The degree of hotness was also as stated. What needs to be highlighted is the great service: very attentive and friendly! We will be back & will certainly order online! Thank you!

Ordered online. Overpriced without end! Hair and dead fly in the food. Delicious! Since then I have not ordered there.

Extensive menu. Reasonable prices. We enjoyed our dishes. I found "medium hot" to be mild. Very attentive host who personally asked about the well-being and gave us as guests a feeling of welcome.

Disastrous and pathetic !!! Stay away from the bunch of arrogant and unapologetic people. We ordered food and it showed 45 min on Lieferando. When the food didn’t arrived in 45 min and I called the restaurant, I was told that order has left the kitchen and will arrive any minute. Another 30 minutes pass and I again called, same person picked up from other side, and said he will check and call back in a minute. Another 30 minutes passed, I called them again and same person picked and instead of being apologetic, he said we have a rush hour and your order is on its way and just HUNG UP !! Seriously? Btw, my order hasnt arrived yet, kids are about to go to sleep and totally disappointed. Stay away from this restaurant, its my worst experience. I wish there was a way to rate then Negative Stars... they dont even deserve a zero.

We have ordered food @7:15pm via lieferando.de, it's now 21:45 - no food. I've called the place @8:44 to learn that they have problem with their system, they haven't prepared the food at all. They promised me to send the food asap. I've called @9:11 and they told me that the driver is on the way ... the ride is 10min to our place. The manager refuses to talk to me on the phone. This is a total family disaster on a saturday night. four crying kids asking when the food will come. I know that things can go wrong on a busy night, but if so, please be open in communication and help as promised. Catastrophic disaster management. Can't recommend to order online from them.

Good food, nice Ambiente but a little pricey, and for that standard a little too dirty. For the price and availability there are certainly better choices in Frankfurt

Rates are okay. Had the food been less oily and less artificialy coloured, would have been better. The colour staying on for more than a day.

Can only conclude the positive recessions here. Service and service very nice, friendly and educating. There are recommendations that are good. Location very quiet and off the village Kalbach with very good opportunity to go for a walk afterwards. Parking in the vicinity available. Menu rich. Just try it.

My Birthday is waiting there. Ich have visited this Location last weekend and I am really surprised. It was amazing. 😍😋 We ate Like kings and everything was delicious!!!!

Very genuine indian cuisine run by a very friendly owner and staff! A perfect place for people living close to kalbach and riedberg. I will definitely recommend to try Veg Pakoras, Aloo paratha and chana masala. Also home delivery, free of charge on orders above 15€ (if I remember correctly;))
